What we're building
A running record, kept honest.
Rateflow is early and pre-revenue. There are no customer logos to show you and no case studies, so this is the proof on offer instead: what actually shipped, and what's still missing.

Quote builder rebuilt around actually using it
Five passes over two days, driven by pricing real quotes rather than reading the code. Cleaner panels, the scenario switch fixed, and several places where the sheet was showing quantities and totals nobody had agreed to.
- August 2026
Parcel and freight rate tables on a quote
A full table — zones, weight breaks, adders — presented on the quote instead of collapsed into one blended number.
- August 2026
Quotes can be emailed from inside the app
The quote goes out with its portal link, and the reply comes back to the account rather than to whoever happened to send it.
- August 2026
Document vault
The agreements a 3PL already signed, filed per client and readable — including having the app read a filed document and use it to fill in the account's setup.
- August 2026
An accepted quote behaves like a signed rate sheet
What the client agreed to is retrievable as the document it is, and matching a signed sheet against the account's rates now takes one pass instead of nineteen.
- August 2026
Client setup is one job again
Onboarding a new account used to be five separate screens in a particular order. It's now one flow, and onboarding stopped being modelled as a sales stage, which it never was.
- August 2026
Real conversations in the client portal
Threads per subject instead of one endless string per client, with attachments visible on both sides and a note of which quote a message came from.
- August 2026
Structured information requests
Ask a prospect for dimensions, case pack, volumes or carrier preference as a form. The answers come back attached to the quote and show up in the inbox.
- August 2026
Forwarded email chains get folded down
A message forwarded four times reads as the message, not as four layers of forwarding history, with a thread-level summary of what's been asked and what's outstanding.
- August 2026
Billing progress and inline month settling
How far through a billing month an account is, on the client page and the list, from one shared computation — plus settling a month without leaving the screen.
- August 2026
Rate solver on the profitability view
Works out the rates an account is effectively being billed at and reconciles them against the card. It refuses to answer where the reconciliation doesn't hold, rather than producing a confident wrong number.
- August 2026
Accessibility and typography pass
Focus states restored across the app — several client-facing pages had none at all — small text raised above the contrast floor, and every money column set in tabular figures so the decimals line up.
Not done
Known gaps.
Deliberately not dated. A roadmap with dates on it is a promise you make to strangers, and this is a list of things that are genuinely missing.
- A decline path in the client portal — right now a client can accept a quote but not formally say no.
- The portal login screen carrying your branding rather than ours.
- Quote expiry, so a sent quote doesn't stay live at last year's rates forever.
- Letting clients see the documents they sent you, not just the ones you sent them.
- Alerting when an account approaches or crosses its minimum monthly.
- Watching for invoiced rates drifting off the account's rate card, as a standing monitor rather than a thing you go looking for.
Early has an upside.
What gets built next is heavily influenced by the handful of operators using it. If something on your desk is missing here, that's a good reason to get in touch.
